Welcome to Gods Unchained Strategy!!

Hello!

My name is Josh. As the Gods Unchained Beta continues to pick up steam, I've found myself looking for strategic content. Having played Magic for years, I had access to sites like channelfireball.com & starcitygames.com that would provide top notch content to keep me ahead of the curve. While the GU community has been great about putting out content that recaps weekend events and other updates, a dedicated content site is something I've found myself wanting. I figured instead of continuing to wait, that I would throw my hat in the ring.

Enter Gods Unchained Strategy.

I want Gods Unchained to grow. I want this to grow. We have great community members hosting markets and deck building sandboxes: help me grow a competitive community of players. Here's what I'll be providing, hopefully adding more as this gains traction:

- Mondays: Quick write-up of the weekend ranked event alongside videos of 1-3 decks used over the weekend.

- Tuesdays: A look at the finance element of the game. We'll start with analyzing the token system and the way the market has progressed. As we get in to October, we'll get to start looking at the exciting secondary card market as it develops!

- Wednesdays: LIMITED! I've mentioned I come from the multiverse of MTG. My favorite format, and really my best style of play is limited. Be it draft or sealed, I love the lines of play that come up and the diversity of play. As such, I'll be dedicating one article a week to this format. I plan on including screenshots of a draft/sealed process and a few videos of gameplay. This is going make Wednesdays my favorite day of the week!

- Fridays: Weekend event primer. What decks to look out for and what cards to get your hands on. Friday's are going to be dedicated to giving you a steroid shot in the arm at the start of the weekend to ensure you have the upper hand.

Having experience writing strategy content for MTG in the past, I look forward to helping the community grow with deep, insightful content. That said: I don't want this to become an echo-chamber where my faults and mistakes become the mistakes of those who follow me on this journey. I am asking for help from the community in delivering awesome content about the game, the company developing it, or anything blockchain/GU related!

While I will do my best to abide by this schedule and keep quality high, please understand that I work full time and have a family and young son. While I do have stable work 😼😼donations are very much welcomed. It is my goal to use these to purchase a domain to host an actual site on, as well as to provide a reward/incentive system for prospective content developers. My goal is to select and run at least one community written article in tandem with the Friday piece, giving a reward to the author.
